It all depends on your destination and the season of travel in Nepal. For a trekking tour, warm and comfortable clothes that can protect you from the cold is the key point to be concerned about. For city tours around Kathmandu valley, medium-weight and easy-to-wash cotton clothes are recommended all year round. For winter times(Oct. to Feb.), woolen sweaters, jackets, or similar warm outfits will be fine. Besides, Nepal is a conservative country, a head cover may be required for both women and men when visiting the sacred sites and places of worship. Do not worry even if you forgot to bring the right clothes, there are lots of shops that give you various options to choose from.
